Social Life Hi my name is Veruschka, I live in Hertfordshire and I am 17 years old. The 3 main things teen agers in Hertfordshire like to do are eat out, go to the movies and go shopping. My favourite time of the week is Friday because it means it is the weekend and I can go out with my family and friends. There is quite alot of things to do in Hertfordshire. We have cinemas in almost every city, ice rinks in Hemel Hempstead, bowling alleys, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and gyms in every town, so that we can all keep fit. Arcades, and shopping centres such as the Harlequin, Howard centre, galleria, Stevenage shopping mall, saver centre in London Colney etc. We have lots of restaurants with different types of cuisine such as Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, English etc. we also have museums, theme parks, wildlife parks, sport centres and theatres. We also have very nice national parks where you can go on picnics and bike rides etc. This weekend I did quite a lot of things. On Friday I went out to watch the latest movie at the cinema which was prince of Persia. I really liked the film. I then went out for a meal with my friends at nando’s and then went for a sleep over at my best friends, we then spent Saturday going to the shopping mall and spent lots of money, after that we went to the park and had a picnic, later that night was a party, so we spent hours getting ready and went to my friends 18th birthday party. I had a lie in on Sunday, then later one I met up with my boyfriend and we went to the beach for the day. Next week my friends and I are going to Wales for a camping trip which will be lots of fun.
